WESTIES CREW (AGES 13–17)
For our older juniors, the Westies Crew is a youth-focused program designed to keep teens engaged, active and having fun.
Westies Crew is for all Under 14 - Under 18 club members
In Westies Crew you will:
- train for awards to become or continue as a patrolling surf lifesaver
- have opportunities to participate in the many surf sports disciplines available
- learn about the many pathways available to help you achieve in SLS
- enjoy social events & activities
- love the friendships that come from being part of an awesome team
Membership in the crew is automatic for all Under 14 – Under 18 club members and you will be notified of upcoming events & activities throughout the season.

- Youth Event Crew
- EcoSurf Ambassadors
- Youth High-Performance Squad (by invitation to selected athletes)
- Lifesaving Development Camp (16 or 17 yo as at 13/12/21)
- U14/y15 Leadership Development Camp (2nd week of April school holidays)
