Information on this page is for those who would like to would like to become Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) members and join West Beach Surf Life Saving Club (West Beach SLSC), and current SLSA members transferring to West Beach SLSC.
New members are welcome to join between September and March.

Program Fee

The West Beach SLSC Adaptive Nipper Program aims to create an inclusive surf lifesaving experience for children with disabilities aged 5 – 13 yrs. This program will provide opportunities for participants to develop beach safety awareness, surf skills, and confidence in the water, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued in our community. It will benefit children with disabilities, their families, and our broader community by fostering participation, social connections, and water safety skills. Volunteers will also gain valuable experience in inclusive practices.

- Age 5 yrs minimum
- Includes one parent/carer compulsory Associate Membership per family who must participate on the beach
- No club benefits or discounts
- SA Working With Children Check required for parent/carer

Working With Children Check
All members aged 14yrs and over are required to have a current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
To initiate a free volunteer WWCC application, click the WWCC Request Form button for a new ‘Working With Children Check’ Application form or click the Submit Current WWCC button for an existing Current Working With Children Check form.
If you are unwilling to complete WWCC requirements, West Beach SLSC will be unable to accept your membership.
Sports Vouchers
West Beach SLSC is a registered provider for the SA Government Sports Voucher Plus Program for children in Reception to Year 9.
To use Sports Vouchers as payment or part payment of fees, click the button to complete and submit a West Beach SLSC Sports Voucher Claim form.
One or two vouchers can be used per member per season to reduce your membership costs.
Membership App
The West Beach SLSC member loyalty app provides access to the Bar & Bistro benefits outlined within each membership type above.
Once your membership application is accepted you will receive an email invitation to download the app. Please do not sign-in to the app until you receive the email.
Be sure to enter the same mobile number listed in your SLS Hub when registering.
New to Surf Life Saving Australia
To complete registration, login to your SLS Hub, select West Beach as the club you would like to join, enter the required details, confirm your acceptance of the membership declarations, select your membership type and fee, enter your payment details, review and submit.
Your registration will remain as Pending until it is processed by the club, and we have received Working With Children Check’s if required and Sports Voucher’s where being used for fees. We may contact you to confirm details.

Existing SLSA member transferring clubs
If you are transferring your membership to West Beach SLSC, please login to your existing SLS Hub.
Go to the Memberships panel, click on the view more link, and click the Join/Transfer to a New Organisation button to request a transfer.
Once your transfer to West Beach SLSC has been processed you will be able to register your membership.
Click the Transfer to West Beach SLSC button to login to your SLS Hub and request your transfer.
