Surf Sports

Welcome to Season 2024 - 2025

Surf Sports competition is an exciting part of being involved in any surf club, and one aspect that attracts and keeps many members involved in surf lifesaving. Not only is it adrenaline pumping fun, surf sports aims to prepare lifesavers for their role in saving lives, enhancing fitness and skills relevant to saving lives.   As a general rule, any member that wishes to participate in competition - must have gained and remained  proficient in their Bronze Medallion award.  The exception is First Aid competition where you can compete with a current First Aid Certificate.

We have had a good season of winter training with Boards, Skis, Beach, Ironman, Boats and Swimming having good numbers attending. The training timetable is posted on web.
