Member Awards

West Beach SLSC offers members the chance to learn vital skills via a range of awards that are run through the club.

We place a high priority on education. Whether it be ensuring members are adequately prepared to perform rescues, introducing children to the dangers of the beach or educating members in first aid and CPR, we are committed to saving lives and building the capacity of the South Australian community.

Member Education is vital in ensuring members are equipped with the correct skills to perform the primary aim of surf life saving - saving lives.

First aid courses are run by SLSSA, Through their training and education programs. Surf Life Saving SA has been providing a range of lifesaving and first aid courses to organisations, individuals and the community for over thirty years.
